Learn to Crochet with Samira

If you would love to learn how to crochet come join our 2-part beginners crochet workshop on Monday 20th May and Monday 27th May (18.00 - 20.30) @ The Wool Shop!

Suited for complete beginners, no prior crochet experience needed.

Also suitable for people who have crocheted in the past and would like a refresher on basic stitches and techniques, as well as reading basic crochet patterns.


• 4mm crochet hook

• Various colours and amounts of DK wool (this is a good opportunity to use up odds and ends from your stash). At least 3 different colours

• Pattern will be supplied as part of the course

Techniques to be covered:

Part 1:

• Learn the principles of crochet

• Learn standard crochet stitches (foundation ring, chains, slip stitches, trebles)

• How to change colours / join new yarns

• How to read a pattern

Part 2:

• How to join your squares (or any other motifs) using the double crochet method

• Learn the Join-As-You-Go method

• Learn to read a different pattern and make a Granny Circle

£30 per person for both classes (materials not included but can be purchased in store on the day)
